Me and My Friend began with a camera, a stack of blank cards, and Debbie’s love of a good photograph. She started out making cards from her own landscapes, flowers, and funny pet snaps sent in by friends and family, selling them from a little shop in Reindeer Court, Worcester.

Since then the business has grown well beyond cards, though the spirit behind it hasn’t changed. In 2018 the shop moved online so Debbie could reach more people with the personalised gifts she loves creating, from name trains in natural wood to keepsakes for christenings, weddings, and Christmas. The shopping parties customers loved are back too, ready to welcome people the way the old shop once did.

Look closely and you’ll spot Debbie in every part of the site. The soft colours running through the branding are hers, chosen because they capture the fun and energy she brings to everything she makes. And those cat illustrations popping up here and there aren’t just decoration. They’re Ellie and Izzy, her own two cats, who somehow manage to sneak into most things she does.

At the centre of it all is one simple idea: celebrating life’s happy moments, whether that’s a new baby, a wedding, or just a gift that says someone was thought of. That’s what Me and My Friend has always been about, and what it always will be.
